The Pain Medicine Center at the University of Chicago Medical Center upholds the mission to provide superior healthcare in a compassionate manner, always mindful of each patient's dignity and individuality. To this end, our staff of board certified Anesthesiologists and Pain Specialists provides individualized treatment plans focusing on physical improvement, and enhanced quality of life.
As part of the University of Chicago Medical Center, our Center offers access to a broad range of other medical specialists, many of whom are considered "best in their field" of practice.

Primary care physician referral to the Pain Medicine Center is required to assure that pertinent medical records and diagnostic tests are received to help guide our care.
The first visit will be a comprehensive patient assessment. We recommend that the patient arrive fifteen minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time.
